Track Undercarriage System

A complete track undercarriage system is the structural and mobility assembly that supports and propels crawler-based machinery. It consists of a series of integrated components including travel system, hydraulic system and undercarriage parts – typically forged from high-strength 50MnB, 40Mn2 or 35Mn2 alloy steel and subjected to deep induction hardening (heat treatment) to withstand high-torque demands. These systems are essential for equipment operating on soft, uneven, or abrasive terrain, such as excavators, loaders, drilling rigs, crushers, cranes, and pavers, where standard tires would lack sufficient traction or stability. The primary function is to distribute the vehicle’s weight over a larger surface area to minimize ground pressure while providing the mechanical leverage necessary for movement in high-vibration and abrasive industrial environments.
